I don’t remember where I got this bracelet but it needed to be restrung/knotted. These are slightly off white freshwater pearls. They are slightly flat on one side. This bracelet measures 7-1/2″. If your wrist is 7-1/2″ this bracelet will not fit you. It should fit a wrist 6-1/2″ to 6-3/4″. I do not know what the clasp is made of, there were no markings on it. I am assuming it’s gold because it is not tarnished at all. The clasp is a very unusual one. It’s like a plunger. You take the left side and put it up to the little round area that sticks out on the clasp. Then push down and the end slips right in. And you do the same to remove it. I’ve never seen a clasp like that before. I tried to research clasps and didn’t find anything either.

This necklace was made using 18 gauge Silver-filled wire. Silver filled is in the middle of the silvers. There’s silver plating that usually chips off and exposes the base metal under it. Silver-filled is a more reasonable priced silver option. There is the base metal but it’s got many layers of silver over it. And then you have solid sterling silver. Silver-filled is not as soft as solid sterling silver and can withstand a bit more handling.
This silver-filled necklace measures 21″ long and has a sterling silver lobster clasp. Each ring was soldered, hammered, textured and joined together by soldering a handmade jump ring to each large ring. It was buffed and then tumbled to a bright shine.
The larger textured rings are just a bit smaller than a dime. They measure 15.4mm.
It will be shipped in a safe container within a bubble envelope and it will also be in an antitarnish bag.
Shipping is based on zip code and there is not handling or added shipping fees. Shop in my secure web store.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Wanda

Today I would like to share with you a beaded jellyfish that I made. What was most amazing was that I actually had the beads here to make it. I have zillions of beads but when it comes to making a project, I often don’t have the right size or color. I did have to improvise a bit on the very top of the jellyfish because my opening was a bit too big, but I just kept repeating and reducing the pattern until the opening was big enough for the headpin.
This jelly fish was >made using glass pearls I had actually gotten at Michael’s during one of their big sales. I liked them because they were a rainbow or maybe AB glazed white pearls. There were four strands on one hang tag. I bought it because I liked the fact that I got four different size pearls to work with on one purchase, plus they were pretty. Yup, pretty really sells it for me!!!
The pattern listed pink pearls for the smaller ones but I didn’t have any pink. But I did have the correct size in cream, so that is what I used. I made what I had work because what I had was the right size. I am trying not to order more stuff I don’t need before I try using what I have and so far I’m doing pretty good. I will never use up my bead stash but I am sure trying to make what I have work with what I want to make.
You can get the pattern for this jellyfish here. I will have this necklace set up for sale in my webstore. I just wanted to make one, I didn’t know what I was going to do with it. So I decided to sell it and move on to another project I have already started. You can see it in my secure webstore here.

The Countess bulb is a fun bulb to bead. It’s got some easy to find elements. There’s seed beads, fir
e-polished beads and pearls. Work up the pattern and add your bulb. This is the first bulb I have made that is not encased by the beads. It’s my first “dangling” bulb. These bulb covers are nice because if the bulb breaks, you just carefully clean up the mess and slip it on a new bulb. And they are easier to ship too. No more worrying if the delicate bulb will make it through the mail. I am planning on designing a few more bulbs like this in the future. I’d say near future but I get too busy with other projects and I get the bulbs done when I can.

Add a bit of color to your Christmas tree or another beaded bulb to your collection. This beaded Christmas bulb is fun to make and has easy to follow step by step instructions. Here you get to play with various sizes of seed beads, glass pearls and twin beads. I find using larger beads, such as twin beads, projects seem to go together more quickly. Probably because of the size of the beads. I had fun designing this bulb and I created a pattern for it. The beads are stitched over a 2-1/2″ diameter glass Christmas bulb.

Sometimes we need a little reminder that we are stronger than we think we are. This bracelet is great inspiration! There is a quote by Henry Ford, “Whether you think you can or can’t, either way you are right.” Be positive and think you can!
This bracelet is made of copper. It was hammered, textured, drilled, stamped, polished and curved. I made the jump rings and the chain by hand. It was a very fun bracelet to make. The ends of the wires were filed and bent inward so they won’t scratch your skin. It has a very smooth feel. If your wrist is 7-1/2″ or less it will fit you. If your wrist is smaller than 7-1/2″ the hook can be moved to the link that is most comfortable for you.
This bracelet sells for $16 and I will provide a link to my secure web store. I am not that great at using WordPress so I will be seeking help to get my photo put on here in the right place and getting an icon for purchasing. Plus I will be taking notes so I remember how to do it myself on my next post.
